A few weeks ago I shared this picture of the Leaning Saguaro of Tucson at Saguaro National Park.
No one knew how long it would survive before Mother Nature would take it down.
It may have been due to our high winds, increased moisture or just time to give into gravity, but within a few weeks of the first picture, it must have given a huge groan and fell to the earth. Unless vegetation is blocking a path or is a risk to park personal or visitors, nature is allowed to take her course. The one arm gives the illusion of covering it’s face. Over the next few months, years, it will be interesting to document it’s progression as it returns to the earth.
