Now through April 5, 2015, you can enjoy Raptor Free Flights at Tucson’s Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. The birds take off daily at 10:00am and 2:00pm. In between flights and other times of the year, you can enjoy this sculpture located on the grounds.
The grounds of this outdoor museum comprise 21 acres with two miles of walking paths, 16 individual gardens, 1,200 native plant species and 56,000 individual plants. You could easily spend an entire day here. Whether you are visiting Tucson or have lived here for years, the Desert Museum is always a treat. As our desert changes with the seasons, so does the Museum. Enjoy and let me know what was your favorite!
