Tucson Garden Railway Society’s annual Rails in the Garden Tour is this weekend March 7th and 8th. It’s free, but a donation of a can of food for our Community Food Bank would be much appreciated. This is a fun event for all ages.
This railroad had to have been on an acre in the backyard of a Tucson foothills home. There was so much to see and enjoy.
In addition to monument valley, this dedicated railroader has vignettes depicting every phase of the West alongside the train tracks.
You may get to see the cattle drive coming into town.
The entire backyard of this home was filled with towns and trains.
A scene from old Tucson and the trolley heading down 4th Avenue.
This garden train backs up to El Dorado Golf Course.
This is a fun event with stops all over Tucson. To learn more about the Tucson Garden Railway Society, here’s a link to their website. http://tucsongrs.org/index.shtml
You can see one of their garden rails anytime at the Tucson Botanical Society.
